Hello everyone.
I wanted to extract some screenshots from the ufodedia. in doing so i had to "hack" myself into the savegames, to get all the ufopedia entries. It wasn't very hard though - you just had to change some hexentries periodically to 02... not a tough thing to do.

However i stumbled over one more entrie than i suspected. There is a new entrie in the ufopedia.
UFODEDIA>UFO COMPONENTS>ALIEN REPRODUCTION
With a nice picture of some sort of cloning chambers.

I would like to upload and attach a modified up.dat, but obviously i am to dumb. so here is a description instead:
Open up.dat in a hex editor. and change the following values to 02:

08, 14, 20 , 2C, 38, 44, 50 , 5C, 68, 74, 80 , 8C, 98, A4, B0 , BC, 38, 44, 50 , 5C 38, 44, 50 , 5C, 38, 44, 50 , 5C,.... continue this scheme until you reached the end of the file. most values will be 00 before you change them, some will be 03 - i suspect 00 means NOT YET, 03 means from the beginning and 02 means researched.

If you are new to HEX editing, create a new safegame ant try this. It is an easy exercise - the maximum damage is ruining your savegame.
