I have US version of Silent Storm, but a "Made in EU"
version of Sentinels.

When I try to run Sentinels, nothing happens. It
doesn't even check to see if the CD is in the drive.
This happens with and without the 1.1 patch. No error
message is given.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hmmm...

I have a similar combination: Silent Storm (S^2) made in U.S. - 2 CDs and a version of Silent Storm Gold from Britain. - 3 CDs (2 CDs with the original game + Sentinels expansion(S^3))

What I did: I uninstalled the U.S. version and installed the U.K. version.

Benefits: The massive criticals to the head don't just kill (U.S. version) but also blow the head off (U.K. version) killcrazed.gif

(Assuming you have the Silent Storm Gold, of course. I never heard of the "Sentinels" expansion being distributed as a single CD by Jowood...)

It is an Add-on, not Gold.

I did find the problem from a jowood forum. I had Alchohol 52% installed. After removing that, it appears to be working.
