been playing S2 and now going to start S3, just wondering did they fix the broken ability of medic and engineer?

basically , master medic (or soemthing) and master engineer suppose to let you use ALL medical and engineering tool.

without the ability, let's face it you will NEVER reach mecdicine or engineering stats of above 100 or even close to it. the ability is broken. after i got them, i still can't use the advanced equipment such as bullet extractor , morphine, first aid box , wire cutter, advanced lock pic etc etc...


this basically renders medic and engieer to be almost worthless. any mod or S3 fixed this?

Skill progression is much better in S3. Don't know about master medic/master engineer.

In S3 you can 'buy' stat points in base, but character needs to gain some XP points first. Thereīs one special random encounter, where you can steal lots of treasure articles. Change them to stat points, weapons or/and mercs.

I donīt remember are advanced items' required skills same as in S2..

Edit: I checked...

Medic items:
- Medicine Container (60)
- Squirt Box (70)
- Bullet Extractor (80)
- Medicine Dropper (110)
(- PK Repair Advanced (110))

Engineer items:
- Advanced Picklock (100)
- Wire Cutter (90)
- "WeaponRepair3" (90)

Engineer grenades:
- Lyddite (60)
- Nitroglycerine (80)
- Hecsogen (100)

So, at least some of them seems to be quite high. If you want, I may make a mod for you. Just say how much you want them to be lowered.

if there is no mod out there already, don't worry about making a new one, i am done with S2 more or less anyways. a player can go through game without ever lock picking or setting explosives or just using regular bandage. my suggestion was just to make some kind of incentive to have engineer and medic in your party. otherwise maybe we can just have six snipers.

i;ll go head and finish up s2 and start s3. so thanks!
