Xcom TFTD gold, XCOMUTIL 9.6, setup done, graphic loader used.
Shortcut to RunXcomW.bat, then to battle.
Every time the geoscape or the battlescape load, the game minimizes with a dos screen saying "Research loading" or something like that. Then the game resumes normally.
I should point out that this is VERY annoying.
Any ideas?

This issue is that xomutil splits the game into 2 parts. so when you enter combat the game exits, windows switches back to the calling program, RunXcomW.bat, and it starts up the game again.

You may be able to make the issue less annoying by seating your shortcut to run RunXcomW.bat in full screen.

Combat is very simple, there is a first place and second place, second place is laying face down in the mud, sometimes, so is first place.
