Don't know if it's been posted before but UFO: Afterlight is avalable on Steam for $39.95.

Is the Steam version different from the DVD version or Sprocket version in any meaningful way? I've had a very good experience with Steam in the past, but I'd like to know if the mods are compatible. I especially enjoyed ShadoWarrior's rebalance mod for AS, and I'd be sad if the AL equivelent didn't work on the Steam version.

I don't know as I've yet to try any mods on it.
I might give it a go tonight if I get time and I'll let you know. I don't see why mods wouldn't work though.
