I am currently plowing through Jagged Alliance 2 version 1.13 and came across Arulco's answer to Al Capone, King Pin aka. Peter Klaus.
And if my memory serves me correctly Peter Klaus is also the name of the local gangster/warlord you encounter enroute to the Convoy ambush.
So what else is there of easter egg goodness in Hammer & Sickle or is it just a coincidence?

He is indeed, CG. I remember blowing his brains out with fondness.

His initials are PK...coincidence? I think not!

Well, I guess that is the right thing to do if you are a do-gooder or if you are the even more evil then the local warlords/gangsters.
JA2 was also the first game I played where you could blow someones brains out even if it was more of a random event as in a 'critical' hit.

In the H&S's editor/database "Sanders" pers is named sometimes "Buzz" and sometimes "Deidrana". JA2's cutscenes showed Deidrana doing "palm flaps" on "Elliot, you idiot" face and Sanders does same to "Larry's" cheeks in H&S. "FLAPS"

There is some other as well ... "Fidel" f.e.

Why didn't I spot Fidel?
Larry Roachborn in Jagged Alliance 2....Former drug addict who knows a thing a two about explosives....

Larry in H&S reminds me more of Grunty.
