Other than panicing the aliens, is there anything else this does? I've never been able to mind control them like they do us. Anyone done more?

I've hardly ever even managed to panic the aliens. I have never once managed to mind-control an alien pilot.
I seldom bother with the psi-blaster now because each shot has massive power requirements and doesn't have any effect that I can see. |
