i was wondering if there was anyone who plays ufo 2000, or if there is a list somewhere with players that i can obtain. it looks like a badass game.

it alwase crashed on my system. It would be cool to play.. they figured out a lot of info on the data formats used by the original game. but most of their work is in russian.

ufo 2k AKA Gladiators
X-COM: Gladiators is a remake of tactical part of X-COM: UFO Defense (UFO: Enemy Unknown) game. It uses all the graphics and sounds from that game (you have to unpack ufo2000 into the folder with UFO1 or at least with content of ufo2000dat.zip) and adds only one new feature - multiplay and one enhancement - 640x400 resolution  . actually i can play it without the ufo game, i just downloaded the .dat zip and the .exe zip and put it in one file. but of coarse it didn't work cause it wanted a .dll file so i dloaded that to and now it seems to work i just have noone to play with at the momment. if anyone wants i can put the whole thing on my website. are you getting a .dll problem blue? or does it just crash your system.
