Publishing agreement:
As you may know, Hammer & Sickle has already been released in Russia. Today Nival Interactive and CDV Software Entertainment AG was happy to announce that they have landed a publishing agreement for Western Europe, the United States, Canada, Central and Southern America, Japan and Australia. The press release says nothing about when Hammer & Sickle will be available, but with a little luck it will be soon. You can find the press release here.

The weapons:
If you would like to know what weapons you can expect to use in Hammer & Sickle, you can find out right now. Nival made huge weapon lists available, containing everything from picture to cost. You can find two comprehensive lists here. A few samples:

I really don't know much 'bout CDV 'cept they published Larians games and Blitzkrieg but I bet they can't be worse than JoWood.

I'll bet JoWood would have released a platinum edition of Silent Storm, containing all the games, at full price, forcing us to buy a third copy of S2.
