As much as I like the other games, nothing beats UFO:EU

Well, i like the second Xcom part more. Sure the alien bases don't look that good as in the first part, but the ocean/ship missions are awesome!

I may well vote for Apoc as it's got some awesome combat in it, but I'll have to sort out this new bit of code to display forum polls on themain site before I can cast my vote

I voted for S3 because it's awesome, but also because it's the only game I've played that's up there. I played TFTD when I was younger, but it was so freakin' hard I gave up in fury, always losing all my men and running out of money after about a year...
Should I give it another shot? I think I'll give the O.G. X-Com a shot first... -------------------- |

I voted for the original X-COM game: Enemy Unknown. I have played all three X-COM titles listed, but none really held my interest longer than EU.
You ever look at the Geoscape graphics in EU and TFTD? TFTD's globe really sucks. And Apoc? Well, the graphics are better than either EU or TFTD, but overall gameplay is more difficult to master. EU is just one of those games where when you start playing, you know how to proceed automatically. Unfortunately, I never played UFO:Aftershock or the Silent Storm games, so my vote is a tiny bit biased. -------------------- QUOTE(JellyfishGreen) Zombie: Empirical data's your only man, when formulating a research plan. They call me Zombie because I don't sleep, as I slowly struggle to climb this heap, of corpses, data points, and trials, but from the top - I'll see for miles! |

Well I'm guessing you meant UFO Aftermath as Aftershock's not out yte, but yeah, that might make your vote a shade biased

UFO Aftershock is the sequel to UFO Aftermath and is due out later this year. Honestly, some people just don't look at the main site
