I'm finding that the abilities Master Engineer and Little Blood are not working. Master Engineer is supposed to allow the use of any engineering item regardless but my lousy soldier still can't use advanced lockpicks. Little Blood is supposed to cure the bleeding condition when using first aid, needless to say my men are still squirting. Anyone else having these problems?

I'm sure the Master Medic perk worked for me, but I'm not sure about the engineeering one, I can't remeber if I took it or not. But I do know my engineer was never able to use all the engineering items :?

I remember master medic working fine, but master mechanic didn't have any effect. Little blood didn't work much either, though it seems that sometimes it does work.

Re master Eng, I'm not sure it's a bug, the description for nitro glycerine states that master Engineer is needed, and also the Eng skill of (81?) is needed. My Engineer has master Eng, but only Eng 41.

it could be a badly worded Perk, that's the problem with translations, often the meaning gets lost.

"Master Engineer is supposed to allow the use of any engineering item regardless"

Actually the wording is that it removes all limitations, it does not actually say that it removes any requirements, so perhaps the trick here is to discover what is meant by limitations.

Well for master medic I think it removed the skill requirements. Aren't they worded the same way?

That I don't know, oddly my medic doesn't have master medic as an option in his skills tree.

*Edit* I was mistaken, he does, aboit halfway through, not at the end.

Master medic: "This ability increases the medical skill by 15 points when healing the wounds"

Master Engineer: "this ability removes all the limitations on using engineering items"

It does imply that a master engineer should be able to use any item, although that would be very out of balance with the Master Medic skill. That, coupled with the description of such items as the nitro Glycerine, which state an engineering skill (81) and the Master engineer abilities as requirements, leads me to believe that the description is simply ambiguous.
