Hey all...

I'm absolutely stuck on the mission in Berger's Factory in Switzerland. The objectives are:

1- Find documents
2- Capture whoever's running the factory
3- Don't kill civilians

Amazingly, I managed #3 fine and I've already disposed of all the enemies. All of them. But I can't find (1) or (2). The "i" icon is simply not appearing anywhere in the map on any object and I've combed every level of the factory thoroughly. Including crates and lockers.

Where are they supposed to be anyway? Any help will be really appreciated.

It's a two-part map. The entrance to the next part is in the cellar of the factory; that's where Berger is (and the documents as well, I think).

Ah, that would explain it. Thank you.

Is the entrance to the second part where the cutscene shows the PK's coming out from? Those two big metal gates, one in front of the other?

I've also got a problem with this mission..

After spending a while clearing out the upper level, in the process killing one of the pk's that came up the back stairs. I then dropped my guys down to the second level through a hole in the floor, a couple of moves later it says i've failed the mission. I didn't kill any civillians so im a bit stumped why.

any ideas?

thx

I haven't actually doen this mision, but in some missions the target you are meant to capture will actually escape if you don't move quick enough.

I don't know if this is the case or not. I would suggest reloading and checking exactly what you were required to do.

For example, if you were mean to capture oemone and you didnt carry them down with you that may have counted as a failure.

@skeme

most likely a civ got wounded by a explosion or an ricochet bleeding to death -> mission fail. got that on myself at this mission. Try a reaload or find the dieing civ.

@Biggles

No at this mission there is no escape possiblity for the boss.

Damm I realy loved this mission. Took me forever to take out the PKs (had non by myself). Played around 7h at this mission alone. Took me 3 days of play. smile.gif

yeah i was thinking the guy had done a runner too but the injured civ idea sounds about right.

i doubt im gonna find the wounded civ in the couple of moves ive got between my last save and the fail msg so i think a restart is in order.

thx for the help guys.

stick with single shot weapons so there is less chance of a stray round hitting a civ. and watch for rounds going through your target and hitting a gas bottle behind him. if you are carful its not too bad (it helps if you have collected some energy weapons.

Energy weapons & sniper rifles always goes through the target...
It's easier to avoid killing civilians if you just fire a shot outside and hide somewhere. They'll come to you while most of the civilians stay inside.
