I just installed the US version game and I seem to be having a problem no one else has posted before. When trying to play the tutorial or select a starting character from campaign character select screen, no pictures/characters appear as graphics on the screen. I know the game thinks the animations are there because if I click the mouse where I think there should be a character, one is selected but I am not able to see the picture of the characters. It is the same with the tutorial, I only see the environment graphics and if I try to move the character I see the movement plot but I can not see the character itself or the "x" that I am supposed to move to according the the instructions.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

This is Odd...

it's sounds exactly like a problem I had with Star Wars KOTOR.

No-one else on the Bioware forums had encountered it either. It sounds most like a driver issue. I've never used those drivers with S2, so try going back to an earlier driver.

Did you install to the default directories? DId you change any of the cfg files?

No changes at all. All default for the install.

I guess I'll try old drivers since I've not gotten any sort of useful reply from either Nival or the US distributor, Encore.

Try the 53.03 drivers if you can. These are the ones I've found most stable recently.
