Hello to all the 'wise olde men' of x-com,
after moving, i came across my old x-com apoc CD (a last played it on my old PC which had win95) and tried to install it on my new PC (P4; 2,2GHz) which has win2k running - it simply won't install I stumbled across this forum just recently while trying to find a patch or something. I checked this support forum and found a lot of really good stuff about getting the program to run, once it's installed well, I don't even get this far: when trying to install, it won't becouse it doesn't find my cd rom and/or the buffer it seems to require and it gives me some cryptic errror and exits to desktop when trying to run the install from dosbox, it tells me that I don't have enough space on hard disk, so that's a dead end right now I'd really appreciate any helpful suggestions (hopefully my english is understandable) thx already Yossarian -------------------- I intend to live forever or die in the attempt.
