Has anyone made a mod/hack to move the camera freely? You know, like in the NWN camera hack...

Or is there a cheat-command for it?

Not that I know of, but it'd be cool to add a feature where you can see through teh eyes of your soldier at least - a little button that zooms in through the back of the selected squad-members head so you can see what they can see smile.gif

Just a thought, but it'd be just sooooo good.

Anyone up for trying to implement something like that?

grin.gif Ok i made a small Camera-Hack/mod, you can find it in the download section soon ( If Slaughter is as fast as usual ) :inlove:

It is absolutely compatible with my Rebalance-Mod and other mods i know of.
What it does: Well, just try it, you'll see. The camera still has it's limits, but i think it's better now.

It's only a small change in the file: _camera_fin2.txt
I found a Field-of-View entry there and some coordinates, changed them and that's it. grin.gif

You can now zoom out a bit more and see a much more at the same time.

But at least we'll get some use out of those pointless flares! wink.gif

What I'm really after is something like a few oil spillages from cars etc that you can throwflares at to make them uber-useful... assuming this isn't in the game already?

What I'd like is a closer zoom, so I can get a good 'in the thick of things' viewpoint.

Reminds me of my AM starting time: I didn't know there was a "move here" command available via the M-key, i had a tough time picking up aliens grin.gif

It's a sign of a more complex game than usual though when you HAVE to read the manual wink.gif
