I'm running the $oldout CD-ROM game on Win98 SE, with AMD Duron 1.3 Ghz, 16 Mb SiS 630/730 graphic card. I used the "Setup95" executable to install it. I also can't run the sound config file because of "null pointer assignment".
Edit: Blarg, saying which game I'm playing would help...It's UFO: Enemy Unknown. -------------------- I am wretched.

I'm having exactly the same problem! I'm using the SOLD-OUT CD version of UFO, with Windows 98SE. The game loads fine, and I can buy/sell/ recruit/ build bases/ research and manufacture/ and shoot down UFOs. As soon as my skyranger arrives at a UFO I get the Begin Mission? box. The No button works, but if I press Yes then everything just freezes.
I'd be so greatful if anyone could help out with this? |
