So i downloaded it from the authors site. I'm left with an ini file.
how does one get it to run. Awsome idea BTW. http://www.xcomufo.com/ < the link to it is here , any one get this thing to run on gold ? thanks |

Here's how you get it to run in the Gold edition: http://www.xcomufo.com/ufo2knts.html
The program let's you connect with another player and play a tactical mission against him. The ini file is for setting up a server I guess. To get it to run you have to follow the instructions in the readme file that is included in the install, and copy most of the UFO files into the UFO2000 directory. It should be well enough explained in the readme as mentioned. -------------------- Greetings from Olav

Ben, you should also note that the UFO2000 developers released a new version, v0.3.60 yesterday. I haven't updated the links at xcomufo.com, so you should go to their page and get it, since it fixes a lot of bugs.

Really, i hope they added some sort of skin, but that's not as important.
I'd really like there to be a multiplayer community, does anyone on this forum play ? or know of a group that plays often. i'll check their forums too . thanks |

yes ben, i have a list of people who play this. unfortinately there will probably not be a skin...........i don't know what you mean by that but if it has to do with ingame graphics it might be awhile.
