Since I got my new NVIDIA2 system UFO, Enemy Unknown, the windows modieid version that came with collectors edition has bad graphics.

Specifically, when I run it, there apear to be about 20 screens, each one positioned to the right of the laft one overlapping. Does anyone know any way to fix this problem?

Its a DirectDraw issue.

Go to f0dder's site at http://f0dder.cjb.net/ where you can download patches from the Misc section.

Or, you could go to Scott Jones' site (http://members.aol.com/stjones/xcomutil/) and download XCOMUtil, which I believe has f0dder's patches integrated, and offers a whole lot more stuff too.

There is a way of manually fixing it, but you have to do it every time you play the game, and I can't remember how to do it anyway smile.gif
