ALPine 2.6:
Fulby is working tirelessly with his tool to make our multiple mods use easier. He have now released his version 2.6 of the ALPine plugin engine, with some nice fixes. ALPine is a tool that let you choose what mods to activate, and it also comes with several small mods built in. You can find it in our mods section, and comment on it in this thread. The program can now be used in Windows 98, 2000 and XP.

As for the built in mods, there are a stunrod, a chopper speed control and a brand new Hostile Humans mod .

FOD - Flapper of Doom!
Remember that harmless little mutated bird you meet sometimes in Aftermath? The one that is crawling around on the ground helplessly? Well, it's not so helpless anymore! Aralez have made sure no one will ever make fun of the creature formerly known as the Flapper again. Flapper of Doom is here!

When I saw the name of the Mod, I couldn't help conjuring an image in my mind (and LMAO). Think of this: in the original game (i.e. unmodded) the plain Flapper would in fact be named Flapper of Doom from the start.

So - here are the six hardened soldiers of our elite unit in the middle of a mission and in it strides... "Look ! Here it comes ! The Flapper of Doom !"

*flap, flap, rustle, rustle*

"Crickey ! I guess this is it boys... we're at the end of our rope, we are."

Then they flop to the ground holding their bellies in covulsive laughter.

"Blimey ! Is this a draft I'm feeling ?" ROFL
