Looks like it would be a little harder to clear. But if you only had one door on the thing and had winding corridors (like go through one of the feet, go into the top of the thing, then down into control center), it would be even harder.

well, i though about just having one corridor winding around, but that would have made it too linear and repetitive, so i've configured the interior somewhat like a regular battleship, mostly symmetrical with some differences to break it up a bit, and plenty of ways to get from a to b, as well as plenty of opportunities for the aliens to get behind you
also, if anyone could tell me the standard compliment of aliens aborad a battleship, it would be greatly appreciated... |

This looks like a totally awesome design. Will this be for xcom ufo defense? Do you have any other pictures or files to go with it?

Too bad you can't make the inside of it look like an Escher drawing. That would be an interesting battle.

QUOTE(Terawatt_99 @ Sep 12 2003, 02:00 PM) also, if anyone could tell me the standard compliment of aliens aborad a battleship, it would be greatly appreciated... A Battleship, according to the OSG, on each skill level, has: CODE Skill Level Soldiers Navigators Engineers Medics Leaders Commanders Terrorists Beginner/Experienced 4-8 1 1 1 1 1 0-2 Veteran/Genius 6-10 1 1 1 2 1 2-4 Superhuman 8-12 2 2 2 3 1 4-6 I'm not sure how accurate this is seeing as it also says no Leaders should be on a Large Scout, and yet Jman pointed out that there's a spawn point for one in the MapView map... -------------------- "The flash of light you saw in the sky was not a UFO; Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and refracted the light from Venus."

Leaders on large scouts? I've frequently had leader sectoids appear in large scouts, which are a real pain in the cerebellum, if you know what I mean.
