Custom Resolution

Hey again fellas!

Went to play TFTD on my new TV yesterday but it won't accept the resolution. My old TV scaled it and worked fine. On my new one the picture vibrates violently up and down and there is a multi-coloured line of fuzz at the very top.

So basically I need to customise the resolution, ideally to my screen's native 1920x1080. Anyone know how, if indeed it is possible?

Avoiding Monotony - Possible?

I was really enjoying TTFD at first but now it's always the same. Send sub in with the same equipment, kill all aliens (usually Aquatoids or Gillmen) and then repeat the process again and again...

Somehow EU seemed to be a lot more varied, and not just visually.

I don't want to abandon the game as I've come quite far and would feel that all the time had been wasted unless I complete it. So I would like to know some tips for getting to the final mission more rapidly. So far my only solution has been to mass scientists and research everything ASAP.

Getting Round The Research Bug

Hey guys!

First time poster here...

I've played a fair way into TTFD. I've been made aware of a research bug and I think I've got it. I have a number of Ion Beam Accelerators but cannot research them...

How do I get around this bug? :S
