Iron-On Patch

Front Back

This is an iron-on patch used to promote XCOM through many different areas. It measures 5.7×7.6cm (2¼×3 inches) and on the back there is a sticker with a product code of 194021, Made In USA and a date code of 03/27/20 (March 27 of some year).

XCOM Sticker

This is a sticker used to promote XCOM possibly only in European markets. It measures 9.5×12.1cm (3¾×4¾ inches) and on the back is some black discoloration.

According to my reasearch into this sticker, it was probably given out as swag during Comic-Con 2012 which was held July 12-15 at the San Diego Convention Center. The back of the sticker advertises you can get a free XCOM t-shirt at the16th annual D.I.C.E. Summit held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on February 7-10, 2013. The sticker itself measures 7.6×9.8cm (3×3 7⁄8 inches) while the entire thing measures 7.9×10.2cm (3 1⁄8×4 inches).

XCOM Pins

This is a package of 3 pins sold to promote XCOM. The Vigilo Confido pin measures 1.9 × 2.5 cm, the soldier pin measures 2.7 × 2.3 cm and the XCOM Enemy Unknown pin measures 3 × 2 cm.

XCOM Keychain

This is a keychain used to promote XCOM. The overall length of the keychain is 11cm (4¼ inches) while the pendant is 3.8×5.7cm (1½ ×2¼ inches). While the chain and ring are magnetically conductive, the pendant is not so it is probably made of a coated stainless steel as it's heavy too.

This is a package containing a pen used to promote XCOM. The pen measures approximately 14 cm (5½ inches) long, while the packaging is 8.5 × 19 cm (3 3⁄8 × 7½ inches).

Multi View Side Clip

This is another pen used to promote XCOM, which I believe was a swag item druing the Gamescom trade fair which was held in Cologne Germany on 15-19 of August 2012. It probably was given away "naked" without packaging. The pen measures approximately 14.4 cm (5⅔ inches) long, and is black in color.

Dog Tag

This is a dog tag with laser etched lettering given out at the 2K booth as swag during the PAX East convention in 2014. The tag itself measures 3 × 5 cm and is probably chrome-plated steel (attracts to a magnet) while the chain is 37 cm looped or 74 cm long and probably stainless steel (doesn't attract to a magnet at all).

Front Claptrap Tag Big Daddy Tag XCOM Tag Back

This is a set of 3 A40 Speaker Tags for the Astro gaming headset. The tags are white on red, featuring CLAPTRAP from Boarderlands, the Big Daddy from Bioshock, and the Vigilo Confido emblem from XCOM. These were featured items for sale at a game convention booth (possibly PAX), making these a very rare limited edition item. Each tag measures approximately 5.7 × 6.4 cm (2¼ × 2½ inches) long, while the packaging is 8.9 × 29.2 cm (3½ × 11½ inches)

This huge banner measures 60 x 160 cm (2 x 5 feet) and was used by retailers to promote the new game to customers. This may have German origins. I couldn't justify purchasing this due to the cost and shipping which was utterly astronomical.

This poster was used by GameStop to advertise XCOM and measures 55.9 × 71.1cm (22 × 28 inches). It is printed on very heavy and thick poster board, not the typical glossy poster paper.

This poster was used by GameStop to advertise XCOM and measures 61 × 41.9cm (24 × 16½ inches). It is printed on very heavy and thick poster board, not the typical glossy poster paper. I'm not really sure if this poster was intentionally cut or if it was original, but I'm putting it here for comparison.

This poster was probably used by GameStop to advertise XCOM and measures 61 × 36.8cm (24 × 14½ inches). It is printed on very heavy and thick poster board, not the typical glossy poster paper.

This poster measures 41.9 × 59.7cm (16½ × 23½ inches) and is printed on the typical glossy poster paper. It probably was not used as a game store display as it was folded.

XCOM Cube

This large display cube measures 45 x 45 cm (17¾ x 17¾ inches) and was used by retailers to promote the new game to customers. This may have German origins. This was found at auction in early August 2013 for 10€ + 7€ shipping (or ≈ 17€) but the seller would only ship to Germany.

This huge display box measures 33.5 x 47.5 x 8 cm (13 1⁄8 x 18¾ x 3 1⁄8 inches) and was used by retailers to promote the new game to customers. This may have German origins. This was found at auction in early August 2013 for 8€ + 7€ shipping (or ≈ 15€) but the seller (same as the one for the cube) would only ship to Germany.

This is a display box used to advertise XCOM in game stores. It's dimensions are enormous, measuring 16 × 11½ × 2½ inches and printed on a heavy card stock. I call this the In Stores version due to the box nomenclature.

This is supposedly a German preorder game box which contains an exclusive XCOM t-shirt and (possibly) a code for the Elite Soldier Pack. I picked this up used from a German seller so I'm not sure what the contents contained brand new. In any event, the box dimensions are 13.5 × 19 × 5.5 cm (or 5¼ × 7½ × 2 1⁄8 inches).

This is a t-shirt used to promote the Enemy Within expansion and was most likely given out at various industry and public shows. This particular shirt was probably acuired at Gamescom 2013 which was held in Cologne Germany on August 21-25. It's marked as a size Large which is true to size. Zombie owns this.
